  • Screenwriters World Conference

    September 27th, 2013

Back again for an even bigger, better second year is The Screenwriter’s World Conference September 27th-29th in Los Angeles.

This year, it’s being held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza (just a stone’s throw away from CAA and Fox Studios!) at 2025 Avenue of the Stars.

You get 3 days of workshops and classes from some of the biggest speakers around including Pilar Allessandra, Erik Bork, Jen Grisanti, Doug Richardson, Kathie Fong Yoneda, Lee Jessup, Corey Mandell and Yours Truly!

I will be teaching my seminar “Loglines, Query Letters & Leave Behinds” on Friday, Sept 27th from 6pm-7pm and will be on the “What I Really Want is an Agent” Panel on Saturday at 9AM-10AM!  If you’re pitching this weekend, you better have your logline perfect!

Plus don’t miss keynote speakers screenwriters Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely (Captain America, Thor 2) and Uber-Producer Ed Saxon (Silence of the Lambs).

Screenwriters World is the result of The Writers Store’s three decades of experience showing screenwriters how to write and sell a screenplay.

Screenwriter’s World also gives you a chance to pitch your project to over 60+ companies in the Pitch Slam! In your pitch sessions, you will get access to managers, agents and execs looking for new material. And there are some great A-List companies coming to hear your pitch!

Make sure to get professional notes on your script and perfect your pitch before you go! If you submit your script this week, you’ll get the notes back in plenty of time!

Before August 30th, you can also register to be a VIP with Total Access Pass registration – for no extra cost! Register today and you’ll automatically receive this special VIP Package. The Screenwriters World Conference VIP Package includes:
